They are determined to maintain the honor, power and wealth of the human kingdoms at all costs in an increasingly dark and dangerous world. Following the path of Sir Lothar and King Llane, the knights and warriors of Stormwind are considered the fiercest human warriors on Azeroth. With the recent invasion of the Burning Legion - which left the northern kingdom of Lordaeron in ruins - Stormwind is listed as the last bastion of human civilization.

Centuries before the ancestor war, the Bear Ancestors, Ursoc and Ursol, made friends with many generations of Humans and Kaldoreis, and they worshiped them instead. These fledgling Humans viewed the Kaldoreis as shadows with divine powers. Between the discovery of the Well of Eternity and the Flood (about 14,000-10,000 ago) the Azothas became Humans. Recently known history indicates that they could have been called Azotha. About 15,000 years ago, the gods "abandoned" the vrykul, shortly after their children were born "weak and ugly." King Ymiron ordered that all children be executed, but not all parents obeyed this order and instead managed to get their children to grow up far from Northrend. Humans have spent generations fighting the dark forces and have lost some of their great kingdoms to it. Humans value Virtue, Honor and Courage, although like all races they also try to achieve power and wealth. This curious aggressive nature has led humans to become one of the most active and influential races in the world.

With a shorter life expectancy compared to other races, humans strive throughout their lives to build great empires, exploration, and magical studies. Humans are among one of the youngest races on Azeroth, but it is compensated by being the most numerous.

Since the Third War, the kingdom of Stormwind has led Humans, and is a powerful member of the Alliance.

The native humans of Northrend were forced to live as slaves to the Magnataur Kingdoms in ancient history. Most live in the Eastern Kingdoms, formerly known as "Azotha", they founded seven kingdoms that came together to fight together during the Second War. Humans (also known as "humanity"), is one of the native races that still survives with life. Trying to explain as much as possible about the playable races of the World of Warcraft, starting with the Human race and bringing each week a different race alternating the factions. In this new installment of weekly lore I would like to start a series, «The Races series».
